Get Used LGMG Quotes 👑A used LGMG forklift is one of the best values in material handling. LGMG Group dates to 1972 and is one of the larger Chinese construction machinery groups, operating through four core companies and eighteen further member businesses. The arm that matters to a forklift buyer is Lingong Heavy Machinery, based in Jinan, Shandong, which builds aerial work platforms, material handling equipment, mining machinery and, since 2024, forklifts. That 2024 date is the important thing to understand about this brand. LGMG is an established manufacturer with real scale behind it, placed among the world top hundred construction machinery makers, China top thirty, and the top five Chinese producers of aerial work platforms. But the forklift division specifically is new. You are buying machines from a serious manufacturer entering a category rather than from a company with decades of forklift history. The practical implications cut both ways. In LGMG favour: the engineering, supply chain and quality systems supporting the forklifts are the same ones behind a large AWP business, and the company is investing heavily in North America, including a planned manufacturing plant in Mexico for its lift products and a drivetrain partnership with Allison Transmission. Against it: a 2024 product line has no long-run reliability record, no large installed base and a thin used market, which affects both resale and parts. For a buyer, LGMG makes most sense as a value-tier purchase in a market with an established dealer, where the saving against a Japanese major is meaningful and you have a second truck if one is down. Ask specifically about parts stocking for the forklift line rather than the AWP line, because they are different products with different supply chains. Because the brand is built to last and well-supported for parts, a quality pre-owned LGMG lift delivers years of dependable service at a fraction of new-equipment cost — often 40 to 60 percent less.
When evaluating a used LGMG forklift, review the hour meter and full maintenance history, and inspect the mast, forks, tires, and hydraulics for wear or damage. Confirm the capacity rating suits your heaviest loads and that the fuel or power type fits your environment. Whenever possible, have the machine inspected in person by a qualified technician before you commit. The dealers we connect you with provide inspected units and can walk you through a machine's condition and history.
